Including the following:
Two more people have died of the swine flu in Dallas County, health officials said today.

The latest victims -- an 11-year-old boy and a 63-year-old woman -- both had underlying medical conditions, according to Dallas County Health and Human Services officials. They both died within the past week.

They are the eighth and ninth confirmed swine flu-related deaths. Health officials declined to provide further details on the victims, citing patient privacy.

WEATHERFORD-An instructional aide for special needs children at Mary Martin Elementary School has died from complications apparently brought on by Type A influenza and pneumonia.

Students and staff members at Weatherford ISD?s Mary Martin Elementary School are mourning the loss of Angela Ward, who passed away Monday evening at Plaza Medical Center in Fort Worth.

Ward was first hospitalized at Weatherford Regional Medical Center on Friday afternoon after a brief illness which began on Wednesday evening.

A release from WISD stated she was transferred from Weatherford Regional Medical Center to Plaza Medical Center following the first of two cardiac arrests. A series of tests indicated pneumonia and Type A influenza.

CORPUS CHRISTI - Local health officials said a man died Friday as a result of the swine flu virus.

The man's death is the seventh swine flu death to be confirmed this year and the third death in just over a week. There is no information being released about the latest swine flu death other than it involved a man in his late fifties.

it would be interesting to see a weekly map of USA with counties
coloured by their amount of ILI, like France,Germany, ... are
doing.
The data is there, it could be done. It's presumably a political decision
not to do it, not to publish ILI-numbers per county.

The sister of a University of Texas employee who died Sept. 27 of swine flu has also succumbed to the same H1N1 virus, the Austin/Travis County Health and Human Services Department has confirmed.
Sylvia Duran, 35, died yesterday. She had been in the intensive care unit at a local hospital with pneumonia during the funeral for her sister, Linda Duran, their sister, Olga Duran, had said last week....
Sylvia Duran?s death brings to four the number attributed to the H1N1 virus in Travis County, Barasch said.
As of last week, there were 52 swine flu deaths in Texas, said Doug McBride, spokesman for the Department of State Health Services.

It is getting hard to keep track! The official list shows Bexar +5, Hidalgo +1, Smith +1 plus new cases in Val Verde, Bastrop, Brazoria, Gonzales and Andrews (1 each) That is +12!

Is that +12 from your latest tally or +12 from the Week 38 report? I believe the Week 38 report only showed 52 total deaths.

Sorry JimO for the delay in reply - I had +12 than the report - which is less than your count and now way behind your updated tally. The official site still shows week 39 figures only - but upon review I noticed there is a 2% tamiflu resistance showing.
