Terrorism Drill To Be Held In North Chicago
(CBS) NORTH CHICAGO, Ill. A terrorism drill is scheduled to be held in North Chicago Thursday morning.
About 150 officers from various agencies, including the FBI, North Chicago Police, and the Great Lakes Police Department, will participate in the drills, which will involve actors playing the role of victims.
The drill will be held from 10 a.m. to noon at the Fan Steel Building on Martin Luther King Drive in North Chicago.
Similar drills were held earlier this month in Glenview and other municipalities, intended to simulate both a terrorist attack and a bird flu outbreak. Officials there dubbed it a success.
