TAIPEI, Taiwan -- According to the Kaohsiung City Government Department of Health (DOH, 高雄市衛生局), 10 patients have died since June due to influenza infections, including a 4- year-old woman, the department said yesterday.
DOH officials warned citizens yesterday to be more attentive to health conditions as more than 150 patients were diagnosed with severe influenza illnesses from June 7 to July 4 this year. Among the patients, 28 of whom were elderly people over 65 years old, 36 were unvaccinated...
