Taiwan: first confirmed case of Hantavirus hemorrhagic fever in Sanmin District of Kaohsiung City

The Health Bureau said that the case was notified of "Hantavirus hemorrhagic fever" on January 3 this year. After treatment, he was discharged from the hospital on January 8. It was found that a female 50-year-old colleague in the indicator case worked. Although there were no obvious symptoms, the blood test was positive for IgM antibodies as a highly suspected case.
