BULVERDE -- An unusually high number of students are absent from a Comal County School District.

News 4 WOAI found out that 14 percent of the student body at Rahe Bulverde Elementary School were out sick Wednesday with what's believed to be the stomach flu. As of Friday, 11 percent of students at that school were home sick.

We found out Startzville Elementary was also hit hard by the flu about three weeks ago.

As of October 30th, Metro Health has received one confirmed case of the H1N1 (Swine) flu, along with one confirmed case of the seasonal flu.
