Stafford Co. Offers Drive-through Seasonal Flu Shotsposted 10/23/09 9:56

STAFFORD, Va. - Stafford County-area residents can get seasonal influenza shots without getting out of their cars.
Officials with the Rappahannock Area Health District says the shots are being offered to adults in a mass-immunization clinic Friday at the Stafford Regional Airport from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Health officials stress that the immunizations aren't vaccines for the H1N1 virus, otherwise known as swine flu.

About 3,000 free doses of seasonal flu vaccine are being given on a first-come, first-serve basis for people 18 and older and have previously had a seasonal flu shot. They must remain in their cars and no immunizations will be given to pedestrians.
