* More measures to face Swine Flu in Sri Lanka
Wednesday, May 6, 2009, 13:44 GMT, ColomboPage News Desk, Sri Lanka. May 06, Colombo: Preparing to face the Influenza A H1N1 virus, Sri Lanka Health officials have allocated 20 wards at selected hospitals for the possible patients.
Sri Lanka Health Ministry said that they have allocated those wards at twenty selected hospitals including the Colombo National hospital and the Infectious Disease Hospital at Angoda, a suburb of Colombo.
The government has already taken several precautionary measures to fight the Swine Flu virus and stressed that they are ready to face this international crisis.
The Health Ministry has also imported the medicines for the disease that has been plaguing many other countries in the world. However, there is no sign of Swine Flu in Sri Lanka.
