Segons la informaci? recollida pel sistema PIDIRAC (Pla d?Informaci? de les Infeccions Respirat?ries Agudes a Catalunya), l?activitat gripal pel nou virus de la grip A(H1N1) es mant? amb una intensitat molt alta i una evoluci? estable en aquests moments. La taxa d?incid?ncia de s?ndromes gripals registrades per la xarxa sentinella ?s de 497,04 per cada 100.000 habitants. Aquesta taxa ?s superior en el grup d?edat de 5-14 anys.
Encara que el virus gripal circula amb molta intensitat a Catalunya, s?observa tamb? una ?mplia circulaci? d?altres virus respiratoris. Del total de mostres respirat?ries que han resultat positives al laboratori, aproximadament un 70% correspon al nou virus de la grip i un 30% a d?altres virus respiratoris.
Pel que fa a la vigil?ncia de casos produ?ts pel nou virus de la grip A (H1N1), la majoria han presentat un quadre gripal lleu, amb una recuperaci? en pocs dies. Des de l?aparici? del virus de la grip A(H1N1), a Catalunya s?han produ?t un total de 232 casos greus, 151 dels quals ja han estat donats d?alta hospital?ria. En aquests moments es troben ingressats a la UCI 27 casos greus. Fins al moment a Catalunya s?han produ?t 18 defuncions. En la darrera setmana s?han produ?t sis defuncions, dues de les quals, corresponents a dues nenes de 5 i 13 anys sense patologies pr?vies conegudes, ja havien estat comunicades. Les altres 4 morts corresponen a una nena de 12 anys amb patologies pr?vies, una dona de 36 anys amb patologies pr?vies, un nen de 4 anys amb patologies pr?vies i un home de 52 anys amb patologies pr?vies.
Al llarg de la setmana que va del 12 al 18 de novembre, s?ha observat un augment del nombre d?urg?ncies ateses tant als hospitals d?aguts (71.494, que suposa un increment del 5,09% respecte a la setmana anterior) com als infantils (5.188, que suposa un increment del 4,37% respecte a la setmana anterior). Respecte a l?any anterior l?activitat en els serveis d?urg?ncies d?adults s?ha incrementat un 17% i en pediatria un 21%. Tot i aix?, el nombre de pacients ingressats des d?urg?ncies dels hospitals d?aguts (6.480) i en els hospitals infantils (406) ?s similar al de la setmana anterior i a l?any anterior en aquestes mateixes dates.
Les visites als centres d?atenci? prim?ria que s?han realitzat en tota la setmana han estat 881.357, xifra representa un increment d?un 5,07% respecte a la setmana anterior. Al igual que la setmana anterior, l?activitat ha estat m?s elevada en el tram d?edat de 0 a 14 anys. En els centres d?atenci? continuada s?han realitzat 57.541, que representa un increment del 10,92 % respecte a la setmana anterior.
Tant les trucades com els domicilis al 061 tamb? s?han incrementat envers a la setmana anterior un 8,15% i un 9,29% respectivament.
Sanitat Respon, mitjan?ant el tel?fon 902111444, durant tot el mes d?octubre va rebre 7.652 consultes associades a simptomatologia sobre la s?ndrome gripal. Nom?s en el per?ode de l?1 al 18 de novembre, aquest mateix servei ha rebut 14.280 consultes de ciutadans pel mateix motiu, el que indica un ?s creixent d?aquest tel?fon per part dels ciutadans.

Based on information gathered by the system PIDIRAC (Plan Info acute respiratory infections in Catalonia), influenza activity by a new influenza virus A (H1N1) remains very high with an intensity and a stable trend at the moment. The incidence of ILI is registered by the sentinel network of 497.04 per 100,000 inhabitants. This rate is higher in the age group of 5-14 years.
Although the influenza virus circulates with great intensity in Catalonia, there is also a wide circulation of other respiratory viruses. Of all respiratory specimens that have positive laboratory result, approximately 70% corresponds to the new influenza virus and 30% for other respiratory viruses.
Regarding the monitoring of new cases caused by influenza virus A (H1N1), most have presented a mild flu-like box, with a recovery within days. Since the emergence of influenza virus A (H1N1), in Catalonia there were a total of 232 serious cases, 151 of which have already been discharged from hospital. At present there are 27 ICU cases. So far 18 deaths have occurred in Catalonia. In the past week there have been six deaths, two of which correspond to two girls aged 5 years and 13 patients with prior known, had been notified. The other 4 deaths correspond to a girl of 12 years with pre-existing conditions, a woman aged 36 with pre-existing conditions, a boy of 4 years with a pre-existing conditions and diseases with man 52 years earlier.
Throughout the week from 12 to 18 November, we have seen an increasing number of emergencies attended both acute hospitals (71,494, an increase of 5.09% over the previous week) as the childhood (5,188, an increase of 4.37% over the previous week). Regarding the previous year activity in the adult emergency services has increased by 17% in pediatrics 21%. However, the number of patients admitted from the ED of acute hospitals (6,480) and children's hospitals (406) is similar to the previous week and last year in the same period.
Visits to primary health care centers that have been made throughout the week were 881,357, a figure represents an increase of 5.07% over the previous week. Like last week, activity was highest in the age bracket 0 to 14 years. In continuing care centers have made 57,541, representing an increase of 10.92% over the previous week.
