Las esperanzas depositadas en su recuperaci?n se esfumaron en la tarde del viernes. La mujer que ingres? embarazada en el hospital civil del Instituto Nacional de Gesti?n Sanitaria, Ingesa, hace un mes con una neumon?a provocada por la gripe A, falleci? hace dos d?as en la Unidad de Cuidados Intensivos, UCI, del cl?nico y fue despedida ayer por sus seres queridos en el cementerio musulm?n de ?Sidi Embarek?.
A pesar de que la gripe A suele presentar una sintomatolog?a leve, las autoridades sanitarias advierten de que las embarazadas, integrantes de uno de los grupos de riesgo definidos por el Ministerio de Sanidad y el Consejo Interterritorial del Sistema Nacional de Salud, pueden desarrollar complicaciones respiratorias con mayor facilidad en el transcurso de este proceso gripal.
El equipo m?dico practic? a la joven encinta una ces?rea el 18 de noviembre para recuperar al beb? que esperaba a los ocho meses de gestaci?n ya que ambos se expon?an a un elevado riesgo por la gravedad de su estado de salud. El peque?o Mohamed, nombre elegido por su madre antes de caer enferma, recibi? el alta hace unas dos semanas y ya se encuentra con el resto de su familia.
?El d?a 12 de noviembre fue el primer d?a que acudi? a Urgencias, en aquella ocasi?n al Jos? Lafont, donde le recetaron un tratamiento y la mandaron a casa pese a que forma parte de un grupo de riesgo y presenta los s?ntomas de la gripe?, explic? su cu?ada, quien cuida a la otra hija de la difunta, de seis a?os.
La familia relata que, con posterioridad, acudi? en cuatro ocasiones al hospital con m?s de 39? de fiebre y no llegaron ni a encamarla en observaci?n. ?Tal vez hubiese pasado lo mismo, pero habr?a estado unos d?as ingresada en el cl?nico y hubi?semos evitado verla as??, lament? la hermana del marido de la fallecida, quien se encuentra hundido por la p?rdida de su esposa, a?adi?.
Su m?dico de familia en el centro de salud del Tarajal fue quien deriv? a la joven al hospital del Ingesa al detectar los s?ntomas de la gripe A, asistencia que la familia agradece enormemente. Sin embargo, sus parientes sopesaron la posibilidad de interponer una denuncia en caso de un desenlace tr?gico de la enfermedad. El Ingesa mantiene la campa?a de vacunaci?n contra la gripe A a trav?s de la consulta de matronas y el asesoramiento de los m?dicos de familia.
Tercera defunci?n conocida por el virus AH1N1
Desde que se declarara el nivel pand?mico de alerta sanitaria por la gripe A, se tiene constancia de que tres mujeres residentes en la ciudad aut?noma han fallecido por complicaciones derivadas del contagio ya que forman parte de los grupos de riesgo declarados por el Ministerio de Sanidad o bien han sufrido complicaciones a partir de patolog?as previas. En la primera v?ctima del virus confluyeron ambas circunstancias, a comienzos de septiembre, cuando una joven de 28 a?os que sufr?a una enfermedad cr?nica y presentaba factores de riesgo falleci? en la UCI del hospital civil. Una mujer que superaba los 50 a?os de edad fue la segunda defunci?n registrada a mediados de noviembre. La tercera de las muertes, conocida ayer, hace referencia a la joven de 24 a?os que ingres? embarazada.

Hopes for recovery were dashed on Friday afternoon. The pregnant woman was admitted in civil hospital of the National Institute of Health Management Ingesa a month ago with pneumonia caused by influenza A, died two days ago in the Intensive Care Unit, ICU, of Hospital Cl?nico and was buried yesterday by loved ones in the Muslim cemetery of Sidi Embarek '.
Although influenza A usually has a mild symptoms, health authorities warn that pregnant women, members of one of the risk groups defined by the Ministry of Health and the Inter-Territorial Council of the National Health System, they can develop respiratory complications more easily in the course of the flu.
The medical team performed the cesarean to the young pregnant woman on Nov. 18 to reclaim the child was waiting for the eight months of pregnancy because both were exposed to high risk for the seriousness of his health. The small Mohamed, name chosen by his mother before she fell ill, was discharged about two weeks ago and is now with the rest of his family.
"On the 12th of November was the first day she went to the ER, at that time to the Joseph Lafont, where he was prescribed a treatment and sent home even though it is part of a risk group and the symptoms of the flu" said her sister, who cares for the other daughter of the deceased, six years.
