Es la cuarta v?ctima que pierde la vida en Cantabria por el virus H1N1

Cantabria registr? ayer el cuarto fallecimiento a consecuencia de la gripe A. Se trata de una mujer de entre 30 y 35 a?os que ingres? en el Hospital de Sierrallana hace unos d?as con los s?ntomas de la gripe A, un cuadro oncol?gico muy grave y otras patolog?as asociadas, que fueron el detonante para que perdiera la vida, seg?n indicaron desde la Direcci?n General de Salud P?blica.

La primera v?ctima fue una mujer de 73 a?os que falleci? en el Hospital Marqu?s de Valdecilla el d?a 22 de octubre por insuficiencia respiratoria y otras patolog?as asociadas. Las otras dos v?ctimas murieron por patolog?as relacionadas con el c?ncer, aunque la Consejer?a de Sanidad no inform? de estos hechos, dado que desde el Ministerio de Sanidad se acord? que al haberse convertido el contagio de la gripe A en una pandemia, ya no se informar?a puntualmente ni de los casos de afectados ni de los fallecimientos. Hace tan s?lo tres d?as que se inici? la campa?a de vacunaci?n contra el virus H1N1 en los centros de salud de la regi?n.

Tanto el Ministerio como la Consejer?a de Sanidad se han hecho hincapi? en que deben vacunarse todas las personas integradas en los grupos de riesgo. En Cantabria suman 125.000 personas y se incluyen a las mujeres embarazadas, personal sanitario, sociosanitario, bomberos, Protecci?n Civil, Fuerzas y Cuerpos de Seguridad del Estado y personas mayores de seis meses que presenten enfermedades cardiovasculares, respiratorias, diabetes o menores de 18 a?os en tratamiento prolongado con ?cido acetilsalic?lico, entre otras.

Incidencia
Los ?ltimos datos que aparecen en la web de la consejer?a hacen referencia a la primera semana de noviembre, entre el d?a 1 y el 7. Seg?n la Red de M?dicos Centinelas, constituida por m?dicos repartidos por todo el territorio de Cantabria, y que permite ver la tendencia de la infecci?n y sus caracter?sticas, en estas fechas la incidencia de contagios fue de 481,77 casos por cada 100.000 habitantes, lo que indica una tendencia descendente en comparaci?n con semanas anteriores.
