Esta semana se ha duplicado la incidencia de casos por el virus

Una mujer de 70 a?os con patolog?as previas se ha convertido en la s?ptima v?ctima mortal de la gripe A en Catalu?a, que esta semana ha visto duplicar la incidencia de casos por el virus que ha afectado especiamente a poblaci?n infantil, seg?n revela el Plan de Informaci?n de las Infecciones Respiratorias Agudas en Catalu?a (Pidirac) de la Conselleria de Salud de esta comunidad.

La actividad gripal en Catalu?a por el nuevo virus de la gripe A ha pasado de 87 casos, la semana anterior, por cada 100.000 habitantes a 168, superando el umbral epid?mico y alcanzando el m?ximo de incidencia desde la llegada del nuevo virus.

Aunque la gripe A ha empezado a circular con m?s intensidad en Catalu?a se observa tambi?n la circulaci?n de otros virus respiratorios.

A woman of 70 with previous pathologies has become the seventh fatality from influenza A in Catalonia, which this week has seen double the incidence of virus species that has affected children, as revealed by the Information Plan Acute Respiratory Infection in Catalonia (Pidirac) of the Regional Ministry of Health in this community.

Influenza activity in Catalonia by the new influenza virus has increased from 87 cases the previous week, per 100,000 population to 168, surpassing the epidemic threshold and peaking in incidence since the advent of the new virus.

Although influenza A has begun to move more strongly in Catalonia is also observed the movement of other respiratory viruses.
