Un var?n de 32 a?os de edad, casado y con dos hijos, vecino de Tricio aunque natural de la localidad asturiana de Mieres y con factores de riesgo asociados en forma de un alto grado de obesidad y deficiencias respiratorias a consecuencia del consumo de tabaco. ?se es el perfil del que constituye ya la segunda v?ctima mortal por gripe A en la comunidad aut?noma en poco m?s de una semana.
Seg?n supo ayer Diario LA RIOJA y confirmaron despu?s fuentes del Gobierno regional a preguntas de este peri?dico, el paciente ingres? de urgencia sobre las 6 de la madrugada del pasado jueves en vista de las dificultades para respirar que arrastraba desde hace d?as y que se hab?an agravado de forma preocupante. Una vez trasladado al Hospital San Pedro, la v?ctima cuyo nombre corresponde a las iniciales F.J.G.G., fue trasladado a la Unidad de Medicina Intensiva (UMI) donde fue tratado con respiraci?n asistida durante las siguientes horas. El empeoramiento de su estado general devino en el fallecimiento que se confirm? a primera hora de la tarde del s?bado.
Su muerte ha conmocionado a la localidad de Tricio, donde regentaba con su familia desde al menos siete a?os el bar 'La Fuente' despu?s de haber estado trabajando en N?jera. El cuerpo fue trasladado posteriormente a Asturias para ser enterrado all? hoy mismo. La familia se encontraba ayer consternada tanto por el tr?gico suceso como por la rapidez con que se desarrollaron los acontecimientos. ?Fumaba mucho y pesaba demasiado, pero no nos esper?bamos algo as??, confirmaban entre sollozos sus allegados desde el tanatorio de Mieres, donde reposa el cad?ver. Fuentes cercanas al joven indican que se encontraba en lista de espera para someterse a una operaci?n de reducci?n de est?mago, aunque a?n no hab?a realizado ninguna prueba.

En aquella ocasi?n el paciente hab?a ingresado seis d?as antes en el San Pedro tras ser diagnosticado de gripe A y tratado en la UMI, donde luego muri?.
