All the six have been diagnosed under category C and the district health officials have begun preventive treatment with Tamiflu.
District health surveillance officer Dr Nagaraj said all the patients, aged below 5 years, are suffering from seasonal infection like fever and cold. As they all were diagnosed under category C they have commenced the treatment. Swab samples have been sent for testing but all of them are doing well, he added.
Meanwhile, two-year-old Guru, who was tested positive, has been discharged from the hospital on Wednesday. Nagaraj said, they are still awaiting lab reports of 30 other suspected cases. All the patients are going strong, he stated.
