Nainital, Sep 23(PTI) At least six deaths due to dengue in Lalkuan, nearly 65 kilometres from here were reported since September 2, district administration said today.
District Magistrate Shailesh Bagoli said according to report on dengue in the Lalkuan filed by the district medical authorities, six persons died from September 2 till date.
A team of doctors were deployed to deal with the emergency and required arrangements for medical help and fogging have been ensured, said the District Magistrate.
Blood samples of patients admitted at Base Hospital, Haldwani are being examined by National Institute of Communicable Disease, New Delhi, the DM said.
