Second severe case in Fukushima

Fukushima prefecture announced yesterday that a 9 year old school boy was suffering from severe symptoms of AH1N1 and treated in intensive care on a respirator.

The boy, who was from Tokyo area visiting his relatives in Fukushima from Sunday,
had a fever of 38.5 degree in Tuesday afternoon and was hospitalized due to pneumonia

August 11 Tuesday
Afternoon fever
15:00 Rapid test negative in A medical institution.
2130 Rapid test negative in B medical institution.
2300 Hospitalized with pneumonia in C medical institution
August 12 Wednesday
Morning Rapid test positive
18:15 Transferred to D medical institution
19:25 Treated in intensive care on a repirator

Amazing that there were TWO negative tests and he didn't test positive until after he was hospitalized with pneumonia.

He went from fever to pneumonia in about 9 hours and less than 24 hours from that, he's in ICU on a respirator.

Sure hope he recovers soon.
