Radiation From Japan Detected At O?Hare Airport

"?There were actually radio isotopes from medical equipment that were actually stored in the plane or the belly or the cargo-hold,? Jeffrey Heisey told CBS 2?s Pamela Jones."

This was low level and the airline is now saying this was just all part of 'normal' operations, but I wonder if this type of equipment should be lead shielded?

I noticed a Geiger counter sales site was selling uranium ore for testing with a caveat to store it far, far away from the buyer when not in use. You can buy uranium on Amazon, too. Could this be what is causing the radioactive mail problems?
