Highlights for Week 42 (October 11, 2009)

Persistent increase in Emergency Department visits county wide for respiratory complaints since early September, with marked increase around Columbus Day (10/12/09).
One new death and more than 30 additional hospitalizations reported in the most recent reporting week.
