Kim Marsh

Kim Tennant Marsh, 45, formerly of Idaho falls, passed away Dec. 1, 2009, at Santa Anna Hospital in California due to complications of H1N1 flu and asthma.

Kim was born July 18, 1964, in Grant town, W.Va., to Orval and Gerry Tennant. She attended school in Wertan, W.Va. In her adult life, she moved to San Jose, Calif., where she met and fell in love with her husband, Bryan R. Marsh, around 1990. Out of that union were born three daughters, Carrie Tennant Marsh, Keana Tennant Marsh and Morgan Tennant Marsh. Kim was very talented as an artist, musician and music composer. She was the best.

Kim and Bryan moved back to Idaho Falls in 1991, where she sold silk plants in Idaho Falls and the surrounding area. They moved back to San Jose in 1992 to raise their daughters.

Kim is survived by her husband, Bryan R. Marsh of San Jose, Calif.; her daughters, Carrie Tennant Marsh of Tellico, Ky., and Keana Tennant Marsh and Morgan Tennant Marsh, both of San Jose, Calif.; parents, Orval and Gerry Tennant of Wertan, W.Va.; stepchildren, Cassey (Jeanette) Marsh, Tesia Briggs and David Moorehead, all of Santa Cruz, Calif., and Camille Marsh of Ucon; siblings-in-law, Scot (Karla) Marsh of Boise, Kevin (April) Marsh, Lauri Kyle and Linda Bates, all of Idaho Falls; mother-in-law, Glenda Bates of Idaho Falls; and several nieces and nephews.

We wish to thank the hospital staff and doctors in Santa Anna for their wonderful care of Kim in her last days. Also a special thank-you to her great friend and companion, Keith Fleury of Gusten, Calif.

Kim will be missed more than words can express.

There will be a family tribute to Kim on Christmas Day at the home of her sister-in-law, Lauri Kyle, in Idaho Falls, Idaho. We all love you, Kim.
