SAN BERNARDINO ? The deaths of two more people attributed to the Swine flu were announced Thursday. That brings San Bernardino County?s total to seven in the past five weeks.
There have been 215 confirmed H1N1 virus cases. Forty patients were hospitalized with mild or moderate symptoms and have fully recovered.
Officials warn that anyone with a chronic illness should be especially careful to take precautions that will limit the chances of becoming infected with this virus.
State Health Director Dr. Mark Horton has predicted that as many as 1 in 4 Californians may be infected by the Swine flu this fall.
