SAfrica reports fourth swine flu death

South Africa on Saturday recorded its fourth swine flu death, health officials said.

Regional spokesman Chris Maxon said the woman who was 31 weeks' pregnant died on Wednesday at Addington hospital in the coastal town of Durban after she was admitted on Monday.

"The woman was admitted with complications, she had high fever and high blood pressure among other complaints. Tests came back on Friday they confirmed she had the A(H1N1) influenza virus."

South Africa reported its first infection June 14 and the country had 1910 cases as of August 11, according to the health department.
