In three patients the pattern showed that it is a new flu in one case confirmed the incidence of seasonal influenza H3N2. The first three cases are linked and it is the children of school age. So the other two in which confirmed the presence of a new influenza cases were due to contact with him. For all others who have had contact with sick children can be interpreted that it is the same type, although not confirmed vurusolo?ki - says Dragan Markovic, an epidemiologist at the Institute of Public Health in Sabac.
The first patients was hospitaloizovan the infectious department of the Health cetra in Loznica, while the two children from Sabac, after out-patient, referred for home treatment.
- When they are somewhat milder symptoms - said Dr. Markovic.
Characteristic for all patients was fever, headache, runny nose, pain and weakness in muscles, and cough.
