Shooting of gulls to fight bird flu will be allowed in the Moscow region
In the Moscow region, they are going to regulate the number of gulls. The draft law on the inclusion of these birds in the list of hunting resources was developed by the Ministry of Ecology of the region, the press service of the department reports.
The Moscow region has joined the month of "The Seagull", which takes place in Russia at the initiative of the Ministry of Agriculture. The purpose of the event is to prevent the spread of highly pathogenic avian influenza (HAI), since the situation with this disease in the country has become more complicated, including due to the growth of the gull population, the report says.
