An outbreak of bird flu was recorded on the border with Bashkiria. There are cases of the disease in Tatarstan and the Chelyabinsk region. Because of this, veterinary control has been strengthened in the Salavat region.
According to the local newspaper Na Zemly Salavat, referring to the head of the regional veterinary station Timur Kamaletdinov, an outbreak of bird flu occurred in large poultry farms. There are no cases of infection in Bashkiria yet, but monitoring of meat sales has been intensified.
The population is advised to abandon the free range of waterfowl, it is better to keep them only in the yard.
