A man confirmed to have died from leptospirosis in Medias

* The man is 72 years and Medias * It is the fifth confirmed case of leptospirosis this year in Sibiu County, the first soldier to death *
A 72-year-old man died Medias his hospital bed, confim?nd laboratory tests in the case of leptospirosis infection. The man came to the hospital in serious condition, was admitted directly to the resuscitation and died after few days.
All Medias Hospital is a patient hospitalized with leptospirosis, all male, aged 61 years. He arrived at the hospital earlier this month, and is admitted to the department of infectious diseases.
In addition to the two cases from Medias, Sibiu county this year have been three other confirmed cases of leptospirosis, all men aged between 50 and 60 years. This case is but the first soldier in Medias death.
