RI: Recalled NECC products found in spa clinic

This is the only case that I've found, so far, where recalled products from NECC were not removed from inventory and were still being used after the recall.

RI suspends nurse's license over drug recall

Rhode Island?s health director has suspended the license of a nurse practitioner who the state says failed to quarantine recalled products from a Massachusetts specialty pharmacy linked to a deadly meningitis outbreak.

Health director Michael Fine announced Wednesday that he suspended Gerald Dornhecker?s license after inspectors found recalled products from New England Compounding Center in patient rooms at the business he works for, Skin Essentials, a North Providence wellness spa.
