"Even the fact that have been made in the last week 20 possible cases of people infected with influenza A (H1N1) is not to be alarmed, the regional manager of Health, Hector Flores Hinojosa said that if the next few days will continue to report more cases, and could be talking about an outbreak of the virus.
Most people who showed symptoms of influenza A, are over age, including the management staff took the test were discarded, which were sent to Lima, now awaits confirmation.
"We are expecting that the National Institute of Health (NIH), we submit the results to confirm how many people out of 20 have contracted the virus A (H1N1), for now, all of them have been discharged and are at home, "he said.
Of this group, four presented severe illness, but after being treated in isolation recovered favorably. On the other hand, said there are fears that new strains of the virus appear, which could include more cases of flu, which last year killed 19 people.
One of the reasons for the presence of more cases of people with symptoms of influenza A is the behavior of the population, ie, citizenship would be leaving out the levels of prevention such as washing hands or covering your mouth when sneezing.
