King of Bhutan arrives in Japan bearing butterflies

Two specimens of a rare butterfly collected by a team that included Japanese researchers were presented to Japan by the visiting King of Bhutan Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck.

Butterfly collector can't get out of larva phase

When members of the Butterfly Society of Japan were chasing the flying insects in the woodlands of Bhutan last year, they gasped in surprise at seeing a 70-year-old climbing a tree.
