Pueblo County: Four Hospitalized With H1N1 In September
The Pueblo City-County Health Department confirms four people were hospitalized with the H1N1 virus for the month of September. They say it represents an increase of flu activity for the month.

The Pueblo City-County Health Department confirms four people were hospitalized with the H1N1 virus during the month of September. They say it represents an increase of flu activity for the month.
?This increase in hospitalized cases of 2009 H1N1 flu is a signal that 2009 H1N1 flu is on the rise in Pueblo," stated Dr. Chris Nevin-Woods, the executive director of the Pueblo City-County Health Department.
An infant, two young children and a young adult were among those hospitalized. Health officials say the young adult remains in the hospital in the intensive care unit on a ventilator. The health department also states,the hospitalized patients were healthy before catching the flu, however; two had a history of asthma.
