Not much news on bird flu escapes Sulawesi Island. Now and then some scattered reports.
Sulawesi, has a lot of chickens, important source of income, important sector of the economy. Chickens are traded from Sulawesi all over Indonesia.
Recently this region had a bird flu campaign aimed at schoolchilderen.
Now another "mobilisation" event, for local leaders.
"Sulsel" is short for Sulawesi Selatan = South Sulawesi .

The Sosial mobilisation of Bird Flu of Libatkan TP-PKK
South Sulawesi: Sebanyak 72 participants who came from TP PKK the city regency se South Sulawesi, joined the social mobilisation preceptive bird flu (Avian Influenza) for 2 days 2 nights, that were carried out by the Foundation of the Servant of Sehat Indonesia (YASIN) in one of the luxurious hotels in Makassar, on Wednesday (2 -7).
