One adult has died while many others are affected following a whooping cough outbreak in Hamelengan village in Deyamos local level government area of Kabwum district.
District administrator Fidelis Harrison yesterday said according to the locals one person has died and many others affected after the disease took over the village three weeks ago.
Mr Harrison said a medical team has been sent to assess the situation and their report will confirm the claims.
?The medical team is in the district with vaccines to treat the locals in the affected area,? he said...
