Pneumonia cases shoot past alert level
Alerts also triggered for 2 other indicators used to monitor flu outbreaks
By Salma Khalik , HEALTH CORRESPONDENT

Last week, 226 people with pneumonia were admitted to hospitals - leading to a Health Ministry warning earlier this week of rising respiratory infection rates.
