Lynn Dean Larsen
Lynn Dean Larsen passed away on November 18, 2009 in Phoenix, AZ at the age of 62 surrounded by family and friends. He lost the battle from H1N1 Flu complications. He was born in Atlantic, Iowa on May 22, 1947 to the parents of Leo and Frances Larsen. His childhood was spent in the Elk Horn, IA Community where he attended his first years of school, until he moved to Colorado Springs, CO in 1959. He attended East Jr. High and graduated from Wasson High School in 1965, going onto Jr. College and Blair Business College. He was employed at Coca Cola Co. in Colorado Springs for 17 years before he moved to Phoenix, AZ where he continued to work for Coca Cola from 1986 until an accident in 1992. He remained living in the Phoenix area where he had Rental properties and worked at Cross Road Services until his disability two years ago. He is survived by his wife, Cheryl of Phoenix, AZ, a son Mark (Jeanne) Larsen of Denver, CO and three grandchildren; Andrew, Peyton and Mitchell, a sister; Doris Hedgcock of Colorado Springs, two nephews; Darin and Dean Griffin, and a step-daughter; Shauna (Bryan) Wolynia and their children; Sean and Alissa, 2 grandchildren from Gypsum, CO. He is preceeded in death by his parents; Leo and Frances Larsen, an uncle Leverne Larsen, an aunt and grandparents. A Gathering of Family and Friends in Remembrance of Lynn was held in Colorado Springs, CO and A Celebration of Life in Phoenix, AZ on Sunday, November 22, 2009.
