Are we ready for the next flu pandemic?

That?s the title, and the topic, of an event organized by the Peterborough County-City Health Unit taking place May 10 from 9 a.m. to noon at the Evinrude Centre on Monaghan Rd.

Its aim is to educate the public, specifically emergency workers, health care providers, agricultural workers and business leaders, about how Peterborough will deal with the next outbreak of influenza.

Guests will learn about the current state of disease outbreaks around the world and discuss how Peterborough and Ontario coped with the H1N1 outbreak. To register, visit www.pcchu.ca or email...
