Outbreak at Fairhaven forces visitor restrictions

Visitors are restricted at Fairhaven Home for the Aged after 15 residents showed symptoms of a respiratory outbreak, an official said.

Executive director Joy Husak said the 15 residents are showing at least two of the following symptoms: fever, cough, nasal congestion and sore throat.

Swabs have tested negative for influenza A, B and RSV, she said...
