The Ministry of Health of Panama reported that for the second epidemiological week of 2023, 180 cases of dengue were reported throughout the country.

The report highlights that these cases of dengue are broken down as follows: 155 cases without warning signs; 25 with warning signs; 0 cases of severe dengue and no deaths have been registered.

The regions with the most positive cases are: the Metropolitan Health Region with 41 positive cases; San Miguelito with 30 cases; West Panama, North Panama and Bocas del Toro with 18 cases, Colón with 17 cases and Herrera with 13 cases.
