Over 360 guests at a wedding reception in Lahore's Johar Town were affected by severe food poisoning, with more than 200 people hospitalised, some in critical condition.
The incident took place at a private marquee in Satto Katla, where substandard food was allegedly served.
Health officials confirmed that nine patients were in critical condition at General Hospital Lahore. Another 27 guests were admitted to Raiwind Indus Hospital, while seven more were receiving treatment at the University of Lahore Hospital.
Kasur DHQ Hospital attended to over ten affected guests, and a total of 31 patients were treated at both private and public hospitals in Narowal. ...
