Actress Anjuman dies under mysterious circumstances

LAHORE: Stage and television actress Anjuman Shehzadi died on Monday under mysterious circumstances. According to initial reports, 33-year-old Shehzadi was suffering from a fever for the past two days and had gotten herself some medicine from a pharmacy nearby her house in Iqbal Town.
Thinking that it would be a minor case of fever, she did not consult a doctor. However on Sunday evening, her condition worsened and she was taken to the Jinnah Hospital where she died on Monday morning. The deceased was wife of a film producer, Naeem Butt. Shehzadi?s mother told police that she did not believe that her daughter had died of natural causes. Police shifted the dead body to a morgue for autopsy. Further investigations are underway.
