[TD="class: views-field views-field-body"]During the first months of 2023, dengue outbreaks of significant magnitude were recorded in South America. Considering the seasonality of dengue characterized by increased transmission in these months in Central America and the Caribbean, the Pan American Health Organization / World Health Organization (PAHO/WHO) recommends that Member States review and adjust their preparedness and response plans to face possible outbreaks of dengue and other arboviral diseases to avoid deaths and complications from these diseases.[/TD]
