Re: PA (2) New Deaths on PA DOH Website

PA added one more death today. With your total above, the total is 46. However, a graph posted on another thread shows 20 deaths that were due to Type A, but were unsubtyped. Most occurred in Oct-Nov. If those are added, the total for PA would be 67.

Re: PA (2) New Deaths on PA DOH Website

Jim, I'm getting (7) as the new number. I've posted here: http://www.flutrackers.com/forum/showthread.php?t=134657

There WILL be (8) new, after adding another one that I just saw on another forum. It's an individual from PA that died in California. (It hasn't been determined if that individual was long term, short term resident or visitor, yet). I'll post it in a separate thread.

A northwestern Pennsylvania county has announced a swine flu fatality, but health officials say the outbreak is subsiding.

Erie County Health Department Director Andy Glass and Erie Schools Superintendent Jim Barker said Friday that 64-year-old retired teacher Marcia Grode died Nov. 10 from complications of swine flu. The cancer patient is believed to be the county's first death from swine flu.
