Oregon girl with enterovirus has long road ahead to recovery

A little girl in Welches cannot walk and has a yearlong recovery ahead of her, and it all started with something her parents thought was a cold.
Through all of that Bailey Sheehan has remained resilient.
"You start feeling like a desperate parent grasping at straws,? Mykell Sheehan, Bailey?s mother, said. ?It's tough because she asks why and I don't know why. And I have to tell her the doctors don't know.?
Multnomah County had a handful of cases of enterovirus D-68 in October.
Dr. Richard Leman with the Oregon?s Public Health Division says most kids who have it don?t show any signs of pain.
"Your body is pretty darn good at recognizing this and making antibodies and fighting it off,? Leman said.
In the case of Bailey Sheehan, her family says she was fully healthy...
