Orange County woman dies from Swine flu

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35) - The Orange County Health Department says a 41-year-old Orange County woman has died from Swine flu.

The health department says while most cases of H1N1 Swine Flu are mild, there are exceptions and pre-existing health conditions often play a role in how individuals react to the flu.

"Our hearts and prayers go out to this woman?s family and friends, said Dr. Kevin M. Sherin, Director of the Orange County Health Department. All of us should continue to be alert and practice good hygiene measures.

Orange County has received reports to date of 171 confirmed cases in Orange County in residents and 42 confirmed cases in non-residents.
