Tracy Loew, Statesman Journal 6:21 p.m. PDT March 24, 2016 Prominent Willamette Valley contractor Fitzpatrick Painting Inc. has been fined $15,847 for illegally burning construction waste.

On Nov. 1, 2015, the Albany Fire Department found that the company had an open burn pit, measuring 75 feet long, 35 feet wide, and 7 feet high, at its office at 37949 Century Drive NE in Albany.
