CHENDERIANG: A national service trainee from the Sentosa camp in Lata Kinjang near here has been confirmed to be suffering from Influenza A(H1N1).

Speaking to reporters yesterday after visiting the camp, Perak Health Committee chairman Datuk Dr Mah Hang Soon said 85 of the camp?s 464 trainees had been isolated.

?Of the 85, 37 have been discharged from isolation.

?The rest are still being treated,? he said, adding that the 85 had showed symptoms of influenza-like illness such as fever, sore throat and flu.

Dr Mah said the 18-year-old girl?s illness began on Jan 9 and treatment was immediately administered.
