Mysterious death from meningitis is under investigation in Auckland

Some cases of meningitis can be lethal. It is a well-known fact. However, when death came to Auckland hospital, it brought many questions. The fatal case of meningitis was spread by the contact with a person already ill.
DHB leads an investigation of the reasons for death. Local Public Health Service has officially stated that this death is under investigation. They assume that the person has died from meningococcal illness.
According to their representatives, ARPHS actively works with the family of this person to stop the spreading of fatal disease...
