others also have week 40, which is CDC's week 39.

We need a worldwide week's norm

If I'm not mistaken, I think that they mean that Week 40 began on October 4, which would be consistent with CDC.

Only 44 sentinels reported this week. That's the lowest figure listed historically but may be added back dated in future weeks (as happened in Texas last week).

However Hospital/ER figures seem complete and thus likely more accurately showing the trend.
