Fives cases of mumps have been diagnosed among the inmate population at Bergen County Jail, authorities said on Tuesday.

HACKENSACK, NJ - Bergen County officials confirmed five cases of mumps in the county jail on Friday evening.
A statement released by County Executive Jim Tedesco's office said that the Bergen County Department of Health Services, which serves as the jail's health officer, has not found any additional cases and a sixth suspected case was negative.
