Reported new cases of Nicaragua affected by virus A (H1N1)

July 14 2009, 20:54 Managua, July 14 (PL) The Nicaraguan health authorities reported today 14 people most affected by the virus A (H1N1) for Human Influenza in the last 24 hours.
According to a bulletin of the Ministry of Health (MINSA) until this Tuesday there are 380 positive cases since the disease entered the country.
However, this amount of 352 people are high and out of medical danger, and only 28 are under medical care and clarifies the text.
The disease spread to 14 departments in the country but its highest incidence is recorded in Managua with 78 percent of cases, followed by Masaya, with six per cent and Leon, with four percent.
According to the party, Minsa maintains surveillance and control at the International Airport Augusto C. Sandino, at seaports and land border checkpoints for the detection and monitoring of people entering the country with symptoms.
