CONCORD, N.H. -- A New Hamsphire hospital is making changes to its visitation policy to protect patients.
Starting Tuesday, visitors to the maternity and pediatrics wards at Concord Hospital must be at least 18.
WMUR-TV reports the hospital made the change to protect newborns, new mothers and young children from possible exposure to the H1N1 virus.
The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has said children under 5 and pregnant women are at a higher risk for the flu.
The hospital will review its visitation policy monthly to see if modifications should be made.
