Official reports 16 flu-related deaths in state since October

Sixteen adults have died from the flu so far throughout the state this flu season.

According to New Hampshire State Epidemiologist Benjamin Chan, 16 influenza-related deaths were documented from Oct. 2, 2014 to Jan. 24. 2015.

The state keeps track of flu-related deaths through physician reporting on death certificates.
