BAJURA: With the onset of the hot season, Bajura has been grappling with the outbreak of typhoid, and other seasonal diseases.

According to Senior Assistant Health Worker Janak Rawal, the outbreak appeared about a week ago, and with each passing day, the number of patients continue to swell.

?Every day, more than 50 patients visit the district hospital seeking treatment for typhoid,? Rawal said.

Elsewhere, huge turnout of typhoid patients, along with cases of diarrhoea and dysentery has been reported at Kolti Primary Health Post that serves people of 11 VDCs in the northern belt of the district.
